I've been making sprites for a while now, since about 2012 I believe, mostly as a hobby. I'm not much for social media,
so I mostly post my work here as well as on the Spriter's Resource under the handle: 'Spriter Theo'.
Hosted here is a sampling of sprites I have made over the years. This is far from my full body of work and largely consist of fan sprites
I made of various characters I like. I update this page pretty frequently, so there's always something new to see!
If a sprite card has a purple bar on the side, that means that it has a full sprite sheet you can see by clicking on it and opening the link.
It also means that the same sprite sheet can be found over on the Spriter's Resource if you are so inclined.
For those curious about some of the more nuts and bolts aspect of this website, I am actually using some of Amazon's development tools to store my
sprites as well as a lot of other information on this site.
Specifically I am using Amazon's Simple Cloud Storage Service (S3) to store the individual sprite animations and sprite sheets and I am using
Amazon's DynamoDB to organize the sprites for the sake of filling out this page (what animations go together, tags for sorting, etc.)
I figured putting this little art gallery would be a more exciting way to showcase my experience with these tools. Databases are useful and all,
but they aren't the most exciting thing to look at on their own.
